Production Assembly Operatives

About the role

Key Recruitment is hiring permanent Production Assembly Operatives for a world‑leading electronics manufacturer in Bordon. The role involves assembling, soldering, wiring and testing electronic products to meet build documentation and quality standards, contributing to timely delivery of high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Perform soldering of through‑hole and surface‑mount components, adhering to IPC standards.
• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical parts according to build instructions.
• Carry out wiring and cable‑harness assembly following schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Operate across various production areas such as PCB assembly, coating, flow solder and testing.
• Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor at all times.

Required profile

• Good manual dexterity with the ability to distinguish colours.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain concentration.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and read schematics.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Required skills

• Soldering (through‑hole and surface‑mount) to IPC standards.
• PCB assembly and general mechanical assembly.
• Wiring and cable‑harness construction.
• Reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
