Production Coordinator/Planner

About the role

This position offers a hands‑on, varied role within a specialist engineering company that is experiencing rapid growth. You will act as the bridge between design and manufacturing, ensuring high‑value projects move smoothly from the bid phase through to production in a world‑class facility.

Key responsibilities

• Own and populate design & manufacturing (D&M) pricing documents during the bid phase.
• Contribute to project schedules and define manufacturing methods via route cards.
• Manage subcontractor RFQs and oversee subcontract performance.
• Ensure parts progress efficiently through the Model Manufacture Centre (MMC).
• Support production planning and design for manufacture (D4M) activities.

Required profile

• Background as a Production Engineer or Production Planner.
• ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
• Ability to meet UK security clearance requirements (5 years continuous residency).
• Experience in production planning and a desire to move away from a purely hands‑on role.
