Production Engineer – Composite Materials

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer with experience in composite materials and machining to join a global manufacturing group that creates high‑performance polymer products for aerospace, defence, medical, automotive and other sectors. You will play a key part in developing and improving automated manufacturing processes and delivering bespoke solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends and composite materials to create bespoke solutions for clients
• Improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency
• Produce 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings using CAD
• Develop and validate complex machining programmes using CAM
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing and engineering issues
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams on technical solutions and product costings

Required profile

• Experience with CAD/CAM processes and machine operation
