Production Engineer – Full Training in Manufacturing

About the role

This is a permanent, full‑time Production Engineer position based in Exeter. The role is designed for candidates with a manufacturing background who are eager to develop into expert production engineers through on‑the‑job training and formal courses.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in comprehensive training covering the company’s aerospace component products.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement projects to reduce process scrap.
• Analyse production data to drive efficiency and quality enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on product reviews and process optimisation.
• Support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations in a site‑based environment.

Required profile

• Background in CNC programming, production/manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Motivation to pursue further qualifications and career development.
• Strong commitment to work‑life balance and a desire for a stable, site‑based role.
