Production Leader

About the role

Lead daily operations within Elis’ hospitality processing centres, ensuring timely delivery of linens, towels and uniforms while driving performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day production activities to meet KPIs such as < 3 % rejects and > 98 % on‑time‑in‑full delivery.
• Manage and develop the production team, monitoring performance, absence and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with local account managers to maintain high service reliability for hotel and restaurant clients.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma and RFID/stock‑management initiatives to boost efficiency and hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, IOSH standards and ISO‑based operating procedures.
• Adjust resources quickly to respond to seasonal surges or national campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven production or operational leadership experience in textile, hospitality or logistics environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous‑improvement frameworks.
• IOSH qualification with strong literacy, numeracy and attention to detail.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent operational experience.
• Experience managing performance, absence and operational KPIs.
