Production Manager – Day Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day‑shift manufacturing operations at our Ellesmere Port facility. Reporting to the Production Director, you will drive productivity, quality, safety and continuous improvement while overseeing a dedicated production team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams to meet operational targets.
• Ensure efficient production flow and on‑time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Monitor and improve KPI performance across production operations.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply‑chain teams to manage inventory and material flow.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Manufacturing experience essential; automotive experience advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or IATF quality environments.
