Production Manager – Food & Pharmaceuticals

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a Food or Pharmaceutical background to lead production at our expanding supplement manufacturing site in Brighton. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of around 40 staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day production operations and supervise the production workforce.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement (CI) projects across the factory.
• Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are strictly followed.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide training to staff as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Solid background in Food/Pharmaceutical production processes.
• Ability to commute to Brighton from surrounding areas (Worthing, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Eastbourne).
