Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Tosoh Quartz, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead its manufacturing team in delivering high‑quality quartz products for the semiconductor industry. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement through Lean methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production operations, set priorities, and sequence manufacturing activities based on process capabilities and staffing.
• Implement and champion Lean principles, including 6S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events.
• Execute production schedules, ensure product quality, and meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Communicate production information effectively to leadership and floor teams.
• Maintain a safety‑first environment and enforce all safety policies.
• Track and control rejects, manage time‑and‑attendance, and review PTO requests to avoid schedule disruptions.
• Ensure training requirements are documented and fulfilled.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Lean implementation and Kaizen events.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
• Experience inspecting products and equipment for defects.
• Strong communication and computer proficiency.
• Understanding of value‑stream mapping in a production setting.
• Experience monitoring key process indicators.
