Production Manager – SAP Experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Andover. The role focuses on overseeing daily production, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards while leveraging SAP for planning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing and production activities to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Develop and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate procurement and maintenance of production equipment together with the Maintenance Engineer.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity while reducing operational costs.
• Maintain high standards of factory cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Report operational issues and production challenges to senior management.
• Monitor production performance, quality standards and productivity levels.
• Train, coach and support Factory Operators to encourage continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Chair weekly operations meetings and work closely with the administration team to resolve delivery‑related matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Production Management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience using SAP MRP/ERP systems for production planning.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach with a focus on operational performance.
