Production Operative – 3‑Shift Pattern

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operative to join Howmet Aerospace’s manufacturing site in Exeter on a rotating 3‑shift pattern. The role involves supporting the fast‑paced production line, ensuring components are processed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑pressure washing equipment as part of the production process.
• Handle and process aerospace components throughout the line.
• Maintain strict quality and safety standards at all times.
• Work collaboratively with a busy production team.
• Perform physically demanding tasks in an industrial environment.

Required profile

• Enjoy hands‑on, practical work.
• Good physical stamina for a demanding role.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.
• Safety‑aware with the ability to follow procedures.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts (6 am‑2 pm / 2 pm‑10 pm / 10 pm‑6 am).
• Manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential.

Required skills

• Operation of high‑pressure washing equipment.
• Handling of aerospace components.
