Production Operative – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a specialist aerospace manufacturing facility in Banbury. The site designs and manufactures advanced lightweight composite fuel pipes and fluid conveyance systems for major global aerospace platforms such as Airbus and Boeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble advanced composite fuel pipe and fluid conveyance components to precise aerospace standards.
• Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, machinery and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete build documentation to ensure full traceability.
• Maintain high 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Carry out basic TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks and support Lean improvement activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Confidence to raise quality or safety concerns.
• Basic PC literacy.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills.
