Production Operative – Decanting & Blending

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join an established company in Stanford‑le‑Hope. The role is based in the specialised decanting area and involves executing the daily blending plan under the supervision of the production team leader. You will work a rotating three‑shift pattern to support continuous operation.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch tankers, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Carry out blending and product movement operations according to the production schedule.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, including waste fuel handling, general tidiness and stock rotation.
• Care for equipment, following husbandry procedures and using the MRS system.
• Communicate progress to the team leader and follow written work orders.
• Identify and report any blending issues or operational efficiencies.
• Act as appointed fire marshal and support ad‑hoc site activities.

Required profile

• Recent experience (last 6 months) in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and execute written operational instructions.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and able to work the specified shift pattern.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.
