Production Operative – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Join a leading confectionery manufacturer in Sheffield and help create some of Britain’s favourite treats. The role is temporary with ongoing opportunities and offers flexible morning or afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the production process, from manufacturing to packing.
• Inspect product quality and remove any damaged or defective items from the line.
• Ensure trays are correctly filled and stacked for the next production stage.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Reliable and detail‑oriented with experience in packing or manufacturing within a warehouse or factory.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to work well within a team and at speed.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Basic understanding of health and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating three‑shift pattern or varied shifts throughout the week.
