Production Operative – FMCG with Path to Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operative in Poole who wishes to develop into a Quality Engineer within a well‑established FMCG manufacturing business. The position offers a clear progression path, comprehensive training and the chance to work with a team of specialist professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Carry out audits and inspections of products and production processes.
• Lead investigations into product non‑conformities and customer complaints.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality practices and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or quality role within the FMCG or related sector.
• Understanding of HACCP principles or willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
