Production Operative

About the role

We are seeking a committed Production Operative to join a well‑established electronics manufacturer in Brighton. The role starts on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after several weeks. You will work on the production floor, handling electronic components and ensuring that each product meets the required specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble finished goods according to customer orders.
• Meet and exceed quality standards.
• Achieve productivity targets.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and diagrams.
• Cross‑train across different production areas.
• Maintain clean and organised workstations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in assembly, production or manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to work to set shift hours (Mon‑Thu 7:30‑16:30, Fri 7:30‑12:30).
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
