Production Operative

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing team in Leeds. The successful candidate will support daily production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily production tasks to meet output targets.
• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently, with training provided as needed.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties across the production area.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Handle and move materials as required.
• Operate a Forklift Truck when authorised and trained.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth production operations.
• Report equipment faults, quality issues, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
