Production Operative – Manufacturing & Assembly

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Production Operative to join our client’s growing manufacturing team in Bedford. This hands‑on position involves working on a rotating shift schedule to support the assembly of high‑quality products.
Key responsibilities
- Open moulds and prepare them for re‑filling.
- Lift and handle products off the production line.
- Perform basic maintenance of production equipment, including cleaning equipment and moulds.
- Carry out routine weekly technical tasks such as calibration.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a production environment or operating machinery.
- Ability to work efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
- Physical stamina for manual work.
