Production Operative – Temporary Shift Role

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking Production Operatives for an immediate‑start, temporary position at a food manufacturing site in Knowsley. The role is shift‑based (e.g., 3 pm‑11 pm) and offers a pathway to a permanent contract for reliable and proactive candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Pack finished products and weigh raw materials.
• Handle weights up to 25 kg and recycle packaging waste.
• Complete paperwork to ensure full traceability.
• Maintain a clean‑as‑you‑go area and adhere to GMP standards.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and meet daily KPIs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food production environment.
• Familiarity with food hygiene or HACCP regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good manual‑handling ability.
