Production Operative – Thursday to Saturday Shifts

About the role

Join Sofina Foods as a Production Operative on the Malton site, working Thursday to Saturday shifts. You will be a key member of the production line, ensuring that meat and seafood products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify product specifications such as size, weight and colour.
• Adjust machine settings for different product runs.
• Report any faults in products or machinery to the team leader.
• Process meat products, pack and label goods.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness procedures throughout the shift.
• Adhere to health and safety rules at all times.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently to meet production targets.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Patience and consistency for repetitive tasks.
• Self‑motivated and adaptable to change.
