Production Operative – Two Shift Brake Pad Manufacturing

About the role

As a Production Operative you will join a brake‑pad manufacturing team, working closely with colleagues across the production line to produce high‑quality brake pads for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate various equipment and machinery to produce parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Maximise daily output to meet targets and maintain high customer service levels.
• Count and inspect items against work orders.
• Perform physical stock movements, including heavy lifting where required.
• Prepare items for collection or delivery.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Production Manager.

Required profile

• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently following standard operating procedures.
• Manual handling experience preferred but not essential – training will be provided.

• Operation of production machinery.
• Manual handling.

What we offer

• Rotating two‑shift pattern (06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00) totaling 39 hours per week.
• 29 days holiday entitlement including bank holidays.
• Hourly rate of £13.02.
