Production Operator

About the role

The company is seeking a Production Operator to join a well‑established manufacturing firm in Hexham. Working Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, you will be part of a fast‑paced environment where quality and efficiency are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings with the team leader or supervisor.
• Carry out general manufacturing duties across production departments.
• Perform quality inspections on all products and record any defects.
• Handle manual tasks such as picking, labelling and packing items.
• Follow basic production plans and prioritise workload.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area.

Required profile

• Experience working in a fast‑paced production or manufacturing setting.
• Strong focus on quality and ability to meet high standards.
• Capability to work independently or as part of a team to achieve targets.
• Physically fit for handling heavy products.

Required skills

• Manual handling and basic production processes.
• Quality inspection and defect marking.
