Production Planner

About the role

3M is looking for a Production Planner to join its Supply Chain team in London, Ontario. You will work closely with business units and manufacturing to develop production and procurement schedules, manage inventory, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Create production and procurement schedules for your assigned area.
• Identify and lead cross‑functional projects that improve service, cost, and inventory performance.
• Use supply‑chain tools and data‑driven analysis to optimize inventory turns and reduce non‑working inventory.
• Provide planning analysis to support decision‑making and present service and inventory metrics.
• Analyze capacity, equipment loading, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with business units to understand customer forecasts and requirements.
• Align manufacturing plans with target inventory levels and lead times.
• Actively manage working and non‑working inventories to meet compliance and investment targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified before start).
• At least one year of experience in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or SAP environments.
• Experience in a manufacturing plant and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP) systems.
• PeopleSoft.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
