Production Scheduler

About the role

As a Production Scheduler based in Banbury, you will coordinate and optimise manufacturing activities for a leading FMCG company. The role ensures that production plans align with customer demand, inventory levels and material availability, supporting seamless supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with procurement to secure necessary materials.
• Liaise with cross‑functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and align priorities.
• Track progress on the shop floor, adjusting plans to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Identify and implement process improvements for productivity and cost reduction.
• Produce regular reports and maintain accurate planning records.
• Ensure all scheduling activities comply with quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production scheduling or planning within the FMCG sector.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain processes and inventory management.
• Proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving scheduling issues.

Required skills

• Familiarity with production planning tools or software.
