Production Shift Manager – Night Shift (Food Manufacturing)

About the role
This position leads the night‑shift operation for a growing food manufacturing site. You will own the shift, guide multiple production teams and work closely with the Production Manager to drive efficiency, productivity and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the night‑shift production operation and ensure targets are met.
- Manage Supervisors, Team Leaders and production staff on the floor.
- Maintain quality standards and monitor operational KPIs.
- Identify and implement improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Support the development and progression of the wider production team.
Required profile
- Experience in production or manufacturing leadership (Supervisor, Team Leader or Shift Leader).
- Strong people‑management capabilities.
- Motivation to progress into a permanent management role.

What we offer
- Salary £40,000 – £45,000 per year
- Four‑day week (Monday‑Thursday nights, 40 hrs)
