Production Specialist – Dispatch & Labels/Promo

About the role

We are hiring two technical experts to join our operations team – a Dispatch Specialist and a Labels & Promo Specialist. Both roles own the standards in their area and are responsible for safety, quality, flow and commercial performance at our Manvers site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure parcels are packed perfectly, shipped safely and processed efficiently (Dispatch).
• Oversee production of labels and promotional items to the highest standard and efficiency (Labels & Promo).
• Maintain 5S and safety systems, lead weekly safety walks and ensure SOPs and risk assessments are signed.
• Monitor machine line speeds, identify non‑value tasks and optimise processes to meet targets.
• Manage flow of work, adjust station layouts and resolve bottlenecks.
• Define “right first time” quality standards, attend weekly quality meetings and drive process improvements.
• Provide technical induction, up‑skill the team and act as the bridge between sales and production.
• Design end‑to‑end processes, oversee equipment health and coordinate with engineering for maintenance.
• Control consumable usage, monitor cost structures and propose cost‑saving ideas.
