Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

About the role

This hands‑on Production Supervisor position is based on the food manufacturing floor in Arreton, Isle of Wight. You will work side‑by‑side with a small team to ensure smooth, safe and efficient production of high‑quality food products.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small production crew on a daily basis.
• Perform hands‑on tasks within the production process.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs).
• Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and health & safety.
• Accurately complete production records and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, floor‑based role rather than an office.
• Strong understanding of SOPs and food safety procedures.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a small team.
• Organised, reliable and physically fit for production work.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Understanding of Critical Control Points and food safety regulations.
• Ability to record production data accurately.
• Familiarity with health & safety standards in a food environment.
