Production Supervisor / Setter – Night Shift

About the role

We are a family‑run business specialising in plastic extrusion and toolmaking, seeking a Production Supervisor/Setter to lead our night‑shift operations. You will ensure the production line runs smoothly, maintain high quality standards, and support the team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the night‑shift production line, monitoring efficiency and quality.
• Carry out thorough quality control checks on finished products.
• Use a Vernier Caliper to verify dimensions against technical drawings.
• Apply go‑no‑go gauges for precise measurement assessments.
• Assist with manual lifting and positioning of finished items.

Required profile

• Clear, analytical thinking and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated with the capacity to motivate others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in a factory or manufacturing setting.

Required skills

• Experience in PVCU extrusion.
• Good understanding of the polymer plasticisation process.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in tool changing procedures.
• Competence with Vernier Caliper measurements.
• Competence with go‑no‑go gauge measurements.
