Production Systems Efficiency Specialist – ERP S/4 Projects

About the role

Airbus Belfast is integrating a Tier‑1 aerostructures supplier and expanding its ERP landscape to a unified SAP S/4 HANA ecosystem. The Production Systems Efficiency Specialist will support the functional definition and deployment of SAP S/4 HANA for manufacturing and shop‑floor processes at the Belfast site, which produces A220 wings and fuselage components.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of the PSE team and ensure integration with Planning & Supply, Finance, Logistics and other domains.
• Deploy SAP S/4 HANA together with the surrounding Airbus tool chain and perform business transformation and acceptance testing.
• Prepare and execute data migration, provide hyper‑care support after go‑live, and assess the solution with the IT department.
• Analyse current organisation, processes and IT solutions to enable efficient implementation of new digital tools aligned with SAP standards and Airbus strategy.

Required profile

• Degree in Informatics, Manufacturing Engineering, Production or Supply‑chain with at least 3 years relevant aerospace experience (or HNC with 5 years).
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing engineering or shop‑floor processes and SAP supply‑chain modules.
• Experience in complex industries such as automotive or defence is desirable.
