Production Team Lead – Assembly Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Team Lead (AM) is responsible for guiding a manufacturing team to meet production goals, ensure safety standards, and maintain high‑quality output of hydraulic valves. The role involves daily communication with supervisors, training new staff, and reporting performance to management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 10‑35 assembly employees.
• Delegate goals and expectations to line leaders for product production.
• Verify machine and equipment setup, resolving any differences.
• Read, act on, and respond to production documents via electronic or manual means.
• Document performance issues and log information on departmental forms.
• Receive, verify, and resolve issues with parts for the assembly process.
• Perform assembly tasks on the line as needed.
• Participate in daily production meetings and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Train new employees and support problem‑solving with other team members.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing department.
• Expert knowledge of the assembly process for hydraulic valves.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team of co‑workers.
• Intermediate reading and writing skills in English.
