Production Team Leader – Path to Production Manager

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join a fast‑growing food manufacturing plant in Bolton. This full‑time position offers a clear progression route to Production Manager, with a competitive salary and a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work with owners to set and achieve production targets.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor material usage and waste to stay within tolerance levels.
- Lead, mentor and develop production staff to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
Required profile
- Experience in food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role such as Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Proven performance‑management and staff‑development experience.
- HACCP Level 2 certification or higher.
