Production Team Leader – Progression to Production Manager

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join a fast‑growing food manufacturing plant near Bolton. This full‑time position offers a clear pathway to a Production Manager role as the business expands its UK and overseas demand.
Key responsibilities
- Work with owners to set and achieve production targets.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor material usage and waste to stay within tolerance levels.
- Lead, mentor and develop production staff to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and food safety standards.
Required profile
- Experience in food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role such as Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Proven performance‑management and staff‑development experience.
- HACCP Level 2 certification or higher.

What we offer
- Salary range £35,000 – £40,000 per year.
- Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm schedule.
