Production Technician – Sprayer

About the role

Join BAE Systems as a Production Technician specialising in spray applications. You will prepare and coat high‑technology components, ensuring surfaces are clean and finishes meet strict aerospace standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by removing grease, dirt and contaminants.
• Mix paints and chemicals to exact customer specifications.
• Set up and operate spray booths and equipment safely.
• Apply spray paint or conformal coating to HUD units, flight sticks, throttle controls and printed circuit boards.
• Conduct quality inspections and perform touch‑up work as needed.
• Clean and maintain equipment and uphold housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Experience in paint‑spraying or conformal‑coating environments.
• Ability to follow written instructions and keep audit records.
• Strict adherence to hazardous‑material safety and waste‑disposal procedures.
• Willingness to wear protective clothing, air‑fed masks, gloves and goggles.
