Production / Warehouse Operative (4‑day week)

About the role
Join a busy food manufacturing site in Chailey as a Production/Warehouse Operative. You will work a four‑day week, enjoying Fridays off while supporting both production and warehouse activities.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload machinery and raw materials.
- Pack, label and prepare finished products for dispatch.
- Pick and assemble orders for shipment.
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
- Maintain food hygiene, health & safety standards and general housekeeping.
Required profile
- Own transport (car or motorcycle) is essential due to the remote site.
- Previous experience in factory production, warehouse, or picking and packing preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear safety boots and other provided PPE.
- Punctual, reliable and committed to long‑term work.
