Professional Indemnity Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join its nationally recognised Defendant Professional Indemnity team in Leeds. This is a hybrid, full‑time position offering the chance to work on a diverse range of defence claims for professionals across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of professional indemnity matters, defending claims brought against solicitors, barristers, accountants, construction specialists and insurance brokers.
• Work closely with senior partners and the wider Insurance Disputes group to develop case strategy and client relationships.
• Handle instructions directly from insurers, MGAs and Lloyd’s syndicates, ensuring high‑quality legal advice and representation.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the national team.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in professional indemnity or commercial litigation.
• Background gained in a leading regional or City law firm, or within a major insurer or MGA.
• Strong technical ability combined with commercial awareness.
• Excellent client communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Collaborative mindset and proactive approach to client engagement.
