Professional Support Lawyer – Property Law (PSL)

About the role

This Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) position sits at the heart of G2 Legal's commercial and residential property teams. It offers an experienced property solicitor the chance to move away from fee‑earning work while remaining at the forefront of property law, knowledge sharing and legal technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update precedents, templates and guidance materials for commercial and residential conveyancing.
• Provide technical legal support and in‑depth research on complex property matters.
• Design and deliver training sessions, mentoring lawyers at all levels.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and communicate updates to the teams.
• Contribute to client updates, thought‑leadership pieces and business development initiatives.
• Support legal‑tech adoption, process‑improvement projects and best‑practice development across the department.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience in commercial and/or residential property law.
• Previous PSL experience or a strong desire to transition into a knowledge‑focused role.
• Excellent technical expertise in property law with strong drafting, research and communication abilities.
• Proactive, organised, commercially aware and able to influence practice standards.

Required skills

• Advanced property law drafting and research skills.
• Ability to develop training material and deliver effective legal education.
• Knowledge of legal technology implementation and process improvement.
