Profit Protection Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Profit Protection Manager to shape and deliver our profit protection strategy across all Reiss stores. Working within the Retail Operations team, you will partner with the Head of Retail Operations and retail leadership to safeguard stores, teams, and assets against security and profit‑related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the profit protection strategy aligned with retail objectives, budgets and measurable outcomes.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate stock and cash loss using data insights and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Create and embed clear policies, procedures and tools that foster a strong profit protection culture.
• Partner with People, Finance and Retail Operations to ensure consistent, fair communications and procedures.
• Monitor fraud, theft and loss trends, proactively introducing preventative measures.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party loss prevention teams, suppliers and external authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, new technologies and project delivery.
• Advocate for store teams, ensuring they are supported, protected and empowered.

Required profile

• Exceptional communicator and influencer with strong stakeholder relationships.
• Extensive retail experience with commercial awareness and deep understanding of store operations.
• Proven track record in end‑to‑end stock and cash loss management.
• Agile, solutions‑focused leader who balances strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Emotionally intelligent, confident in challenging the status quo and driving improvement.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
