Programme and Student Lead – Computer Science

About the role
The University of Law is seeking a Programme and Student Lead for its Computer Science suite of programmes. Based on the Birmingham campus, you will work within the School of Computing and AI to ensure high‑quality delivery and an excellent student experience across multiple campuses.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the quality and delivery of Computer Science programmes at Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester campuses.
- Manage relationships with academic partners and coordinate their contributions.
- Collect and disseminate feedback on programme design and materials, driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor student experience metrics, promote and analyse student surveys.
- Facilitate effective communication between the School of Computing and AI and campus teams.
- Deliver timetabled teaching, module leadership and related lecturer duties when not engaged in management tasks.
Required profile
- Significant experience leading and managing teaching of computing or computer science at degree/graduate diploma level.
- Highly IT literate with a solid understanding of the digital environment in higher education.
- Proven senior management and leadership experience in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of current theory and best practice in teaching, learning and assessment.
