Programme Assistant for Policy and Public Affairs

About the role
TechUK is seeking a proactive and organised Programme Assistant to support its Policy & Public Affairs team. Working in a hybrid setting in London, you will help deliver a range of market and policy programmes, interacting with industry and government stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative support for working groups, forums, committees and councils, including agenda preparation, meeting scheduling and follow‑up actions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for member and stakeholder enquiries, facilitating engagement across programme activities.
- Provide ad‑hoc diary management and general administrative assistance to programme leads.
- Conduct research, prepare briefings, stakeholder profiles, presentations, newsletter content and email communications.
- Assist in planning, developing and delivering events from concept to completion, managing invitations and logistics.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about policy, public affairs and the technology sector.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

- Salary between £27,000 and £31,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus.
