Programme Finance & Compliance Advisor

World Vision UK is looking for a Programme Finance & Compliance Advisor to oversee financial and compliance processes for its overseas programmes, from grant acquisition through to close‑out.

• Assess financial viability of funding opportunities and support Go/No‑Go decisions.
• Lead development of financial components of grant proposals and commercial bids, ensuring donor requirements are met.
• Coordinate donor and partner due‑diligence assessments.
• Provide financial and compliance support during grant and contract start‑up.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
• Monitor programme financial performance, including budgets, burn rates and forecasts.
• Manage claims, fund transfers and co‑financing requirements.
• Deliver financial management training to country offices and partners.
• Prepare and submit high‑quality financial reports and contribute to internal forecasting.
• Oversee grant and contract closure, ensuring all financial and compliance obligations are fulfilled.
• Facilitate internal and external audit processes.
• Improve financial management processes and maintain accurate records in organisational systems.
