Programme Manager – Data Platform

About the role

Springer Nature is seeking a Programme Manager to join the SN Data – Data Competence Centre. You will drive a transformation programme that builds data and technical capabilities, creating a foundation for cross‑organisation initiatives and data‑driven change.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date strategy roadmap in partnership with the Director of Data Enablement.
• Run steering sessions to keep stakeholders informed and gather input.
• Ensure project‑level OKRs and planning are defined and tracked.
• Define programme‑level OKRs with Platform and Programme Directors and manage work against them.
• Create artefacts such as roadmaps, progress reports, risk registers, and opportunity logs.
• Identify, raise, and mitigate risks and issues across the programme.

Required profile

• Proven track record of planning, delivering, and monitoring successful programmes or complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and optimise team or project performance.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience delivering in agile and hybrid environments and mentoring agile roles.
• Problem‑solving mindset and comfort working in ambiguous situations.
