Programme Manager – Oxford Global Health

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of Oxford Global Health, a university‑wide initiative that unites global‑health research across all disciplines. Working closely with the Co‑Directors, academic leaders and external partners, you will translate strategic ambitions into coordinated programmes of work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple workstreams and establish effective governance structures.
• Manage plans, budgets, risks and decisions consistently across the initiative.
• Prepare high‑quality papers, briefings and support senior meetings.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and create new research partnerships.
• Support strategic funding bids and engage with funders and partners.
• Oversee the programme’s events, communications and professional services team.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative and responsive working culture.

Required profile

• Substantial experience leading complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into practical plans and deliver results autonomously.
• Strong judgement, senior‑level professionalism and high degree of independence.
