Programme Marketing Assistant (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Programme Marketing Assistant will support TechUK’s programme team by driving member communications and enhancing the quality of marketing data. Working under the Head of Data‑Driven Marketing, the assistant will own the marketing activities for assigned programmes and provide cover for the wider PMA team. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term, hybrid position based in London.

Key responsibilities

• Promote programme activities across appropriate channels to reach existing and new audiences.
• Provide marketing support for in‑person and online events, monitor registrations and recommend promotional tactics.
• Coordinate programme newsletters and mailers, schedule distribution and manage mailing‑list requests.
• Develop and execute social‑media plans to maximise reach and engagement for upcoming activities.
• Manage ‘Focus Series’ campaigns, source content, create landing pages and drive promotion.
• Support creation, maintenance and optimisation of programme webpages, hubs and blog content, including performance monitoring and call‑to‑action optimisation.
• Design and implement promotional strategies for member elections and surveys, overseeing the end‑to‑end process.

Required profile

• Experience supporting marketing activities for programmes or similar initiatives.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, newsletters and events.
• Excellent written communication for drafting content and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid team environment.

• Salary range £27,000‑£31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
