Project and Operations Analyst

About the role

This position supports the Chief Operating Officer of a leading international bank and provides day‑to‑day assistance to the wider Operations team. You will be involved in coordinating internal projects, governance activities and operational improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the COO and Operations team.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of internal projects and change programmes.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations and management information.
• Support business process reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
• Extract and analyse data to inform operational and strategic decisions.
• Monitor project actions, risks, milestones and key deliverables.
• Assist with supplier management and maintain relevant records.
• Support Operational Resilience reviews and related documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Highly organised and analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, positive problem‑solver with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
• Interest in project management, change and operational improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with project management or business analysis methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, BCS).
