Project Architect – Commercial (London)

About the role

An established multidisciplinary architecture and design consultancy is looking for an experienced Project Architect to lead commercial office fit‑out projects in London. You will own delivery across RIBA Stages 4‑6, translating client briefs into technically robust, design‑led solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural delivery of commercial office fit‑out projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, Revit models, specifications and technical documentation.
• Produce planning, tender, construction and record information packages to a high standard.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other multidisciplinary consultants.
• Review contractor and specialist sub‑contractor information and integrate it into designs.
• Attend client, contractor, consultant and site meetings, providing professional input.
• Respond to RFIs, technical queries and construction‑stage design issues.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and surveys to ensure design intent is met.
• Support planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and tender documentation.
• Contribute to BIM coordination, clash detection and technical reviews.
• Mentor junior architects, assistants and technicians.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with several years of UK project experience.
• Proven track record delivering commercial workplace and office fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of RIBA Stages 4‑6, statutory requirements and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
