Project Architect

About the role

A growing architectural practice specialising in high‑end residential design is seeking a talented Project Architect to join its team in Berkshire. This role offers ownership of bespoke residential projects, strong client interaction and the chance to contribute to a design‑led studio known for exceptional homes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage high‑end residential projects across all RIBA stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
• Produce high‑quality design and technical drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and wider project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Incorporate sustainable design principles into project delivery.
• Provide both design and technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the ongoing success and development of the practice.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in high‑end private residential projects within the UK.
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent design, technical, and detailing skills.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Interest in sustainable design, with Passivhaus experience highly desirable.
