Project Architect – Luxury Residential

About the role

We are seeking a Project Architect to lead high‑end residential schemes for a renowned award‑winning practice in Reading. You will drive projects from concept through completion, working closely with private clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead bespoke luxury residential projects across all RIBA work stages.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, clients and internal teams to ensure efficient progress.
• Develop high‑quality design solutions, technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, resources and quality objectives from inception to handover.
• Manage consultant collaboration and resolve technical or design challenges.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Promote sustainable design approaches and environmentally conscious outcomes.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with a proven record delivering luxury private residential projects in the UK.
• Strong technical expertise and ability to manage complex residential developments.
• Confident communicator with clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Experience guiding junior staff and fostering collaborative working relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Vectorworks.
