Project Controller

About the role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented Project Controller to support the delivery of construction and engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure financial performance, commercial compliance and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project cost forecasts and track actual spend against budgets.
• Support turnover forecasting, customer invoicing and monitor outstanding invoices.
• Prepare commercial and financial performance reports for management.
• Review lessons‑learned logs and produce summary reports.
• Manage variation orders, ensuring deadlines and customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate monthly engineer timesheet processes and maintain project records.
• Prepare project reports, presentations and board papers.
• Attend internal and subcontractor meetings to gather project data.
• Ensure projects comply with company governance and reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in project coordination, controls or commercial support.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
