Project Coordinator

About the role

Southern Ecological Solutions, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic ecological and environmental projects. You will work closely with project managers, stakeholders and on‑site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports and compliance records.
• Track project costs, budgets and variations, preparing regular financial updates.
• Identify and communicate project risks, issues and corrective actions.
• Coordinate on‑site staff, issue task briefings and keep timesheets up to date.
• Prepare and issue client valuations, payment applications and billing support.
• Support internal initiatives such as new processes, health & safety improvements and system upgrades.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in project coordination or a related project management role.
• Good knowledge of industry best practices, legislation and environmental sector standards.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
