Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organised Project Coordinator to support our water and environmental maintenance team in Rugeley. The role involves planning, scheduling and overseeing field activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of a field maintenance team.
• Programme and schedule works to minimise travel time and maximise efficiency.
• Prepare and issue weekly work packages for the team.
• Arrange accommodation and support logistical planning as required.
• Produce quotations and assist commercial processes.
• Develop Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work.
• Liaise with clients to provide updates and manage expectations.
• Support report writing and maintain project documentation.
• Work with the accounts department on invoicing and verify invoices against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure administrative processes are completed effectively.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling or administration role.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to plan and programme work logically in a busy environment.
• Experience liaising with clients and internal teams.
• Understanding of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work.
• Experience in the water industry is advantageous but not essential.
