Project Director – Major Data Centre Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a high‑profile hyperscale data centre in East London. You will join a leading international main contractor known for its fast‑moving, entrepreneurial culture and strong focus on career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of the data centre from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including Project Managers, Construction Managers, commercial, design and site delivery professionals.
• Drive programme, budget, quality and health & safety performance to meet client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Construction Manager on large‑scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated track record delivering data centre, mission‑critical, industrial or advanced manufacturing projects for a main contractor.
• Strong leadership ability to manage multiple disciplines and high‑performing teams.
• Full right to work in the United Kingdom.
